Az hogy milyen hosszan működik egy patron változó, függ attól melyik terméket használja, mekkora egy átlagos szívása. Ha ezt szem előtt tartjuk és azonos szívásszámmal számolunk, mint egy hagyományos cigaretta esetén, hozzávetőleg az alábbi értékek jönnek ki:

Internally controlled by a micro-computer program, the NPRO and NCIG have an automatic cleaning function.
